Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team as an Installation Specialist. As an Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing wire shelving, shower doors, mirrors, and bathroom/kitchen hardware for residential and commercial projects. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with excellent carpentry skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Install wire shelving units in closets, storage areas, and kitchen cabinets according to specifications and measurements.
- Assemble and install shower doors, ensuring proper alignment, functionality, and sealing.
- Mount and install mirrors in various locations, paying attention to precise positioning and secure attachment.
- Install bathroom and kitchen hardware, including faucets, handles, towel racks, and toilet paper holders, following established guidelines.
- Ensure accurate measurements, precise cuts, and proper installation techniques for all assigned projects.
- Collaborate with clients, interior designers, and project managers to determine installation requirements and provide expert advice when needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices while working on-site to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition, promptly reporting any issues or malfunctions.
- Complete installation projects within established timelines, meeting quality standards, and client expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Carpenter or Installation Specialist, preferably with a focus on wire shelving, shower doors, mirrors, and bathroom/kitchen hardware installation.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, including accurate measurements, precise cuts, and proper installation methods.
- Familiarity with different types of materials, hardware, and tools used in the installation process.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and installation instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
