Part time Nurse Aide Instructor (25 hours a week) 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm (Monday-Friday)

Seeking part time instructor for a fast paced nurse aide program. The position requires that instructors effectively deliver course information through lecture from state approved curriculum, as well as hands on training for the classroom portion of the program. Instructors are required to attend the clinical portion of the program at a approved nursing facility with students toward the end of the program.

We are seeking a candidate with the following qualities:

Excellent communication skills

Punctual with time and attendance

Ability to address students with various educational backgrounds Goal oriented Desire to help students succeed Comfortable with demonstrating course material Great time management skills Must be organized

Requirements:

Must be a current LVN or RN

Must have 1 years experience at a long term care facility (This will be verified by the Texas Workforce Commission and The Department of Aging and Disability Services) Must provide resume and two professional references

Preferred:

Two years experience as a Texas certified nurse aide CPR Certified

Pay:

$20.00 Hourly on a bi-weekly pay schedule.
