Currently, we are looking for an Organizational Effectiveness Leader to join our team.
Summary of Purpose:
The Organizational Effectiveness Leader works independently and influences the team’s effectiveness by motivating and inspiring the workforce to identify the most important nuclear safety gaps. Provides a clear vision of the company’s strategic direction and decisions are made appropriately in response to problems or issues. Implements clear, concise communication on a regular basis.
Essential Functions
- Lead INPO continuum site visit teams and WANO-AC peer review teams composed of INPO/WANO and industry personnel to identify gaps to excellence and strengths.
- Lead and/or participate in organizational effectiveness diagnostic visits and assistance activities.
- Evaluate and provide assistance in the areas of organizational effectiveness, nuclear safety culture, and performance improvement. This includes analyzing plant data and conducting interviews and observations to identify improvement issues and their underlying causes.
- Build a collaborative team, ensuring that industry peers and industry advisors are actively engaged, to fully leverage the collective knowledge and experience of team members.
- Write/edit reports.
- Effectively communicate continuum and peer review results to utility Chief Executive Officer and Chief Nuclear Officer.
- Interact with all levels of INPO management and utility personnel.
- Engage in, and provide leadership for, various INPO initiatives and activities
- Coach and mentor internal and external peers.

Education, Licenses, and Certifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Senior Reactor Operator Certification
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical science, or other related area
- Navy Nuclear Training
- Senior Reactor Operator License
Experience
Required
- Minimum of five years of nuclear industry experience (can include INPO and military experience)
- Previous industry experience in multiple functional areas (at least two) such as operations, maintenance and engineering
- Previous relevant manager experience
- Demonstrated management and leadership capability to: influence others, foster an inclusive environment, coordinate resources, communicate in a clear and concise manner, provide feedback to improved individual and team performance, and discern the importance of issues.
Preferred
- Ten years of nuclear industry experience (can include INPO and military experience)
- Qualified in two INPO functional areas or previous director or higher industry position
- Relevant corporate manager experience
- Five years of INPO/WANO evaluation experience
Behaviors and Assessments
