The product manager will manage a line  of product that is a hybrid of in-person professional development, in-person coaching, virtual experience resources, digital resources and tech platforms.   If you are the right candidate, you have a thirst to collaborate with professional educators in product development.


You know how to take initiative and have a proven history in product management. You demonstrate the ability to think strategically about business, products, and product marketing with a deep understanding and curiosity for continued learning about what the market needs and how it will react and integrate the product. Your background is a unique mix  of professional experience in education, business acumen, product marketing, KPI management, product strategy, and excellent soft skills. On the business side you can connect product adoption with measurable business value

You look forward to spending a substantial portion of your time interacting with external customers and internal stakeholders, including technical product managers, team leads, front-line faculty, and executive leaders.

The goal of a Product Manager's job is to successfully bring a product to market and ensure its success. Product managers are responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of a product, from conception to development, launch, and ongoing improvement.

Measures of Success include qualitative insight and quantitative metrics on revenue growth, customer satisfaction, product adoption, return on investment,  and continued evidence of strategic alignment of the product to the organization’s strategic plan

What you will do
  • Collaborate effectively with cross functional teams, ensuring alignment to the strategic plan as evidenced though effective execution of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Efficiently bring products to market within the planned time limit and planned budget as evidenced by metrics specific to the launch and the early adoption revenues.
  • Planning and designing a multistage product roadmap, inclusive of key milestones, features, and customer journey.
  • Plan for resource allocation, design sprints, revenue modeling, market strategy and continuous improvement
  • Develop and own voice of customer systems, such as customer interviewing, to collect feedback, analyze it, and iterate on the product based on user input as evidenced by analytics related to user experience.
  • Represent the voice of the customer (K-12 administrators, educators, and students) and have a validated understanding of customer goals, opportunities, and problems.
  • Based on market research and understanding, customer alignment and available resources, prioritize product features and communicate the WHY to the stakeholders
  • Create pilot programs to run prototypes and assess outcomes for continuous improvement.
  • Set goals for product strategy and lifecycle, define product analytics.
  • Create and manage a go to market (GTM) strategy communicated with all internal stakeholders.
  • Alignment and collaboration with technical product team
  • Collection and analysis of all metrics, qualitative and quantitative specific to success of the product.

Your Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or related field
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) a plus
  • Agile/Scrum certification
  • Minimum five years’ experience in a product role collaborating effectively with cross functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Education or Ed Tech industry a plus
  • Experience using the following tools.
    • Jira
    • Design tools such as Figma, Lucid, Miro
    • MS Suite
    • Salesforce experience a plus

Where you will work
This position will work from a remote home office.

When you will travel
This position requires up to 30% travel which may include trips to schools, school districts, company offices and our annual conference.

When you will work
This is a full-time position. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. (EST). Depending on location, these hours may be flexible to coincide with other time zones. There may be times when early morning/evening/weekend work is necessary to meet the needs of the internal and external customer. 

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that   an employee must be able to do to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to twenty pounds.
