Shipping Specialist - Position Summary
As a non-profit organization focusing on providing medical supplies to individuals who lack access or affordability, a successful candidate in this role must possess the desire to work with humanitarian aid by maintaining an orderly facility through teamwork to accomplish our objectives. This position is a mix of an office job at a small but busy outbound facility. This employee will focus on shipping and receiving, packing supplies, communicating with partners, and working alongside staff members on assigned tasks. The ideal candidate will participate in formal and informal activities that enhance professional development, build skills, and provide a purposeful role at an organization.
The expectations of availability for the job are Monday through Friday during typical office hours, which are approximately 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with a small group of people and maintaining a professional and positive work environment for all.
