Job Responsibilities
- Operates up to 4 Haas CNC mills
- May operate CNC laser cutters, wood routers and 3d printers as needed.
- May support other departments with operation of other machinery, including press brakes.
- Measures and aligns materials to be used.
- Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Performs routine maintenance on the mills.
- Maintains a clean work area.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills Required
- Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate Haas CNC mills
- Tig welding experience a plus.
- Press brake experience a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English. Spanish/English proficiency is desirable.
- Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
- This position is production-oriented and the successful candidate should be comfortable in a high volume, busy, industrial work setting
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
