Product Coordinator
Pay Rate: $30.00/hr
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
Location: Greenville, SC 29607
Hybrid: M/TH/F Remote T/W in Office
Duration: 6 months, contract to hire
Position Summary
Works with the Consumer New Product Development Team to coordinate and assist with all new product launches. The Product Coordinator will play an integral part in the new product implementation process for our consumer retail customers by performing assigned tasks as directed based on project needs, communicating with cross-functional teams and China resources, and responding to internal and external customer needs.
Position Responsibilities
Collect required product data and documents for new product implementation projects.
Obtain released product drawings and instruction sheets from Engineering (Progress Brand).
Coordinate with Engineering to manage the private brand instruction sheet development process including translations and reviews for Home Depot, Lowes, and Walmart projects.
Request carton dimensions and carton die-lines from factories based on awarded products.
Ensure product data files are saved to project folders for each project for future reference.
Build product data for all newly awarded consumer products.
Manage PIM (product information management) Data process for product data content.
Request marketing copy, bullet points, and salient bullet points for product enrichment in consumer customers' proprietary systems.
Work with the eCommerce Product Content Team to schedule product photography for packaging and dotcom product content.
Assist with sample tracking and sample shipments including all required documentation.
Assist with artwork development/requests, artwork reviews, and distribution of files for all product types.
Processing 3rd party invoices for payment through Hubbell Accounts Payable.
Attend Consumer Team meetings and conference calls. Some calls may be scheduled for evening hours.
Respond to special requests from internal resources and consumer customers via email.
Assist with special consumer customer projects.
Additional duties as needed.
Educational/Skill Requirements
Associate Degree in Marketing or Business-related field or equivalent experience
Strong computer literacy with at least an intermediate skill level in Microsoft Access and Excel; advanced skill level a plus. MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook skills are necessary. SAP experience is a plus.
Ability to quickly learn new customer systems and processes. Experience with PLM software such as FlexPLM is beneficial.
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to project manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and deliver desired results
Must be self-directed and detail-oriented
Must be capable of lifting to 25 lbs.
Must be dependable and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a multi-functional team
