WORK SCHEDULE for Deputy Director, FAIMER Global
This full-time position typically works 7-hour workdays, Monday - Friday, with a hybrid work arrangement.
SALARY for Deputy Director, FAIMER Global (Starting at $104,000)
Any offered salary is determined based on competency and skills, prior relevant experience, required degrees/certifications, internal equity within the organization and market competition.

As the Deputy Director, FAIMER Global, your day is dynamic and diverse, reflecting the breadth and impact of FAIMER's global programs.
Your role involves directing the day-to-day management of FAIMER's global initiatives, supporting the education of physicians and healthcare professionals worldwide. You lead the charge in considering and implementing expansion strategies and fostering innovation. You are not just managing programs; you are shaping the future of health professions education on a global scale.
In this leadership position, you play a pivotal role in supporting and mentoring FAIMER stakeholders, offering responsive support to diverse Institutes, including high-ranking members of leadership faculty. Your knack for collaborative decision-making, along with effective communication of best practices and organizational policies, is crucial.
As an innovative thinker, you thrive in a fast-paced environment, effortlessly pivoting between projects. Your ability to navigate international communication is unmatched, leveraging platforms like Teams, Zoom, WhatsApp, and WeChat to connect with stakeholders worldwide. Your day may involve leading discussions on FAIMER's Annual Global Forum or connecting with the extensive network of 2000 Fellows who have graduated from FAIMER's renowned institutes. With virtual events on the horizon, you contribute to expanding opportunities for global connections.
Job Requirements
- Dynamic Leadership: Direct day-to-day management of global programs, fostering innovation and strategizing expansion for FAIMER's mission in supporting global health education.
- Global Collaboration: Navigate diverse international communications, leading discussions in virtual forums, and connecting with a vast network of FAIMER Fellows and partners worldwide.
- Educational Expertise: Apply advanced training in health professions education, extensive faculty development experience, and a profound understanding of medical knowledge to enhance FAIMER's global curriculum.
- Effective Communication: Demonstrate expert written and verbal communication skills, adapting seamlessly to cultural nuances. Lead day-to-day communications with stakeholders, utilizing various international communication technologies.
- Leadership and Qualifications: Exhibit strong leadership skills, with 5 years of experience in MD, Medical Practice preferred, or equivalent. Possess a doctorate in science, MD, DO, or an equivalent international degree, with additional qualifications in Master's in Health Professions Education.
