Manages daily performance and attendance of Manufacturing Support Technicians across all shifts to ensure proper floor support and prompt resolution of issues. Responsible for the successful development of the technical skills of the Manufacturing Support Technician team. 3. Partners with the Engineering Team on the development and execution of new equipment, including the update of processes and procedures. 4. Develops and executes support for three shift in the facility, ensuring proper technician skills on each shift. 5. Ensures alignment between Engineering, Production and facility needs through partnership, relationship building and time management. 6. Supervises Associates in a manner that fosters a safe work environment, self-directed team approach. 7. Promotes an atmosphere of diversity, open communication and trust, affording opportunities for training and growth. 8. Identifies, arranges and/or provides training to ensure a safe, efficient, quality work environment with focus on continuous improvement through Lean manufacturing principles. 9. Facilitates communication, coordination and conflict resolution within and among work groups. 10. Provides leadership to Associates in all areas including: hiring, performance management, coaching, counselling, and corrective actions. 11. Performs other functions as required. Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred Minimum Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role or 8-10 years’ of progressive experience in a technical production support role, and 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role Specialized Knowledge: Knowledge of electrical, controls, maintenance functions of machines, welders, tooling, experience in troubleshooting high end manufacturing equipment Special Skills: Time management, communication, leadership, ability to manage 3 shifts U.S. Applicants: EOE/AA Disability/Veteran
