Job Summary of the Accounts Payable Clerk position
Integr8staff seeks a committed Accounts Payable Clerk to support the accounting department. This role is responsible for data entry, preparation of payable information, collection of transactions, support, and reconciliation of inventory with third-party reports and more. The ideal candidate will take the initiative to assist in the preparation of various supporting documents to submit financial reports in a timely manner.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk position
Posting all payable invoices daily and reconciling to vendor statements and schedule.
Disburse checks.
Balance statements and finalize data.
Prepare accounts for payments & verify data in system
Responsible for end of year 1099’s
Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files.
Responsible for maintaining schedules.
Answers accounts payable phone calls and follows up on inquiries.
Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements of the Accounts Payable Clerk position
Automotive Accounts Payable (AP) Experience Preferred
2 Years Accounts Payable (AP) experience required
Microsoft Office 365 experience with specialization in Excel required
College Degree preferred
GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) experience preferred
Software experience with CDK, Yooz, AP Assist and Corepay is preferred
Must be able to prioritize and multi-task effectively
Must work at a fast pace and be detailed-oriented with strong time management
Exceptional communication skills
Must be a self-starter who can organize and fix any potential problems as needed
Strong organizational skills
