Job Description:
**This is an in-office position**
The Workday Administrator will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing the Workday platform. This position encompasses responsibilities for both the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) components of Workday. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Workday functionality, configuration, and administration, and will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the system meets the organization's evolving needs.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary administrator for the Workday platform, responsible for configuration, maintenance, data loads, integrations, upgrades, and optimization of both the ERP and FP&A modules.
- Maintain Workday security design, configuration, workflow, and security administration.
- Responsible for being knowledgeable on the Workday roadmap and upcoming product releases, reviewing release notes, assessing new features, and understanding the impacts on business processes and basic changes in functionality. Maintain a complete understanding of the system to act as a liaison between IT and functional areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into Workday system configurations and workflows.
- Configure and maintain core Workday components, including but not limited to organizations, hierarchies, security roles, business processes, reports, and integrations.
- Develop and maintain Workday business processes, custom reports, and analytics to support finance-related functions.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems related to Workday functionality, data integrity, and system integrations.
- Maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and user guides.
- Collaborate with Finance Managers and other team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within Workday.
- Provide end-user support and training, ensuring employees and managers are equipped to effectively use Workday and its features.
- Participate in system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing for Workday updates, enhancements, and integrations.

- Recommend, implement, and plan for improvements, enhancements, and new applications to the system.
- Monitor and track progress on Workday support tickets and collaborate and support functional leads with escalated issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 3 year’s experience as a Workday Administrator, with expertise in the ERP and HR modules.
- Experience with Workday integration tools and technologies.
- Experience with Workday configuration and administration in a global or multi-entity organization.
- Proficient in Workday reporting and analytics, including report writing and creating dashboards.
- Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems which includes administering system-level functions and configurations.
- Familiarity with finance and accounting processes, policies, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills required.
- Advanced understanding of business processes and data architecture related to systems support required.
- Ability to spearhead resolution of problems and issues encountered required.
- Extensive PC software skills including Microsoft Office suite of products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. required.
- Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Possess strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with customers, associates, and management at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and effectively is necessary.
- Ability to effectively adapt to a rapidly changing business environment and apply it to technology needs.
- Ability to work with vendor(s) technical support staff and escalate issues when necessary.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Workday certification(s) in relevant modules preferred.
- Prior accounting or finance industry experience helpful.
