Overview
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to the purchasing, production planning, material handling, inventory and logistics teams.
- Implement and sustain medical device regulatory compliant processes and procedures for all areas of responsibility.
- Be the site lead on the master production schedule planning process in collaboration with Corporate Planning and demand management planners.
- Evaluate and develop partnerships with vendors to ensure high quality, cost effective, on-time delivery of all components, materials and services.
- Work collaboratively with quality and engineering to trouble-shoot and resolve vendor related issues
- Represent your areas of responsibility on a cross-functional teams where necessary to deliver on new product introductions, continuous improvement, etc.
- Be an active and engaged member of the site leadership team to set and execute short, medium and long terms strategic plans to optimize the sites, and organizations, success.
Qualifications
- B.S Degree in Business or Engineering plus 10 years relevant experience required.
- APICS certification are preferred.
- 5 years leadership experience.
