What are the responsibilities and job description for the Platform Engineer position at Integral?
Overview
We are seeking a cloud platform professional to work in a fast-paced and dynamic cloud engineering team. Your role will be to maintain and advance platform capabilities for the team and client. You will work closely with the customer and team to gather and implement feedback using best practices for DevSecOps.
Responsibilities
- Participation in all phases of the software / system development cycle.
- Design and implement scalable and reliable systems to support software development
- Collaborate with software engineers and the DevSecOps teams to design and implement technical designs and solutions
- Provide operational support for the platform, ensuring it is scalable, reliable, and meets the needs of the customer and team
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering; or other STEM
- System administration experience for both hardware and software in Linux and Windows
- Experience provisioning development environments including virtual machines and tools
- Experience with Python and NodeJS
- Ability to commute to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base
- TS/SCI Clearance
Preferred:
- SAFe certification(s) and familiarity with NASIC implementation of Agile practices.
- Kubernetes certification(s) and experience configuring and maintaining containers
- Experience persisting data with Postgres, MariaDB, MongoDB
- Experience with Elastic Search and Graph Databases
