What You’ll Do:
  • Provide support to the Service department and specific clients we assist with their CCTV needs.
  • Service and some installation of conduit, and wire. Installation of CCTV cameras including setup, addressing, focusing, and network interface.
  • Must be highly motivated, and task-oriented to learn and see tasks through to completion.
  • Must be a team player and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Responsible for customer coordination in the field and repair of all systems and customer training.
  • Shall work with the Service Coordinator and Service Manager to help schedule onsite resources, and ensure equipment and materials are correct and onsite when needed.
  • Must also communicate well with internal and external customers.

Scope:
  • The Service Technician reports directly to the Service Manager and/or the Operations Manager, as directed. The Technician also works closely with the Service Coordinator.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:
  • Certifications in IFSS areas of expertise or a successful 5-year minimum of demonstrated work history/knowledge as a service technician is required.
  • AXIS ACP certification is preferred, but not required.
  • Understanding NEC and NFPA's current requirements is essential.
  • Shall be able to troubleshoot cameras, network interface, and DVMS. Need to be familiar with AXIS cameras and Milestone DVMS.
  • Shall perform an onsite review of previous repairs and quality control.
  • Shall maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending seminars, keeping up with industry changes and the latest proven technologies, and attending factory-level training classes when necessary.
  • Clean driving record.

What’s in it for you:
  • Healthcare participation for the spouse and family POS plan. IFSS provides 50% of the elected plan (including employees and family) with a minimum monthly contribution.
  • 80 hours of regular work will be provided per pay period. Overtime will be available (with the Manager’s approval) to you when working onsite, on billable service calls, change orders, scheduled overtime, or at the customer’s request.
  • IFSS will provide a company vehicle with a fuel card that includes local personal use (role-specific, may not apply)
  • IFSS laptop computer, cell phone, and software required for the performance of technical duties.
  • Required P.P.E. and IFSS company shirts.
  • Nine company-paid holidays.
  • One-week paid vacation begins accrual after 90 days of full-time service, two weeks of vacation upon completion of the 2nd anniversary, and three weeks upon completion of 5 years of service.
  • PTO, one week each year starting January 1 (prorated from the date of hire in the current year after 90 days of employment).
  • This position accompanies a 90-day review and evaluation from the hire date.

  • Participation in IFSS 401k matching plan.
