Integrated Interventions is a premier transitional living program for youth aged 17 and older. Our program is nationally recognized as a new spin on the traditional “treat them until they are 18 and then wish them luck” process with campuses in Idaho and Texas. Our staff work diligently to help students learn the life skills required to be sustainably independent. Students leaving our program go on to live happy, healthy, and productive lives. We are the last step on the therapeutic journey that many of our students have been on for many years.
Our Mentors take the lead in supporting participants through ongoing, one-on-one mentoring while serving as a positive role model. Take all of the hands-on work skills, interpersonal skills, and outdoor skills you encompass and build a relationship with mentees by planning and participating in activities together. Through these adventures, our mentors and mentees alike build self-esteem and motivation.
What we are looking for:
Highly motivated applicants who want to be a mentor to our students, working side by side with them through independent living skills, hobbies, and daily living routines. Mentors at Integrated Interventions help students to get out into the world and explore. This could be a walk in the park, a hike to your favorite mountain lake, an hour session at the local yoga studio, or so much more – If you can plan it, it can be an activity. Integrated Interventions recognizes that our staff live fulfilling lives. Our Mentors help students to build hobbies and interests into their program. Current mentoring staff have introduced Students to outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, kayaking, and camping. Other Mentors have built community with students through sharing a love for art walks, crafting, cooking, plays, pottery classes and so much more.
Sometimes our Students come to us with little experience living independently. Mentor’s strive to help students to learn basic living skills in a hand-over-hand environment that promotes growth and development. This could be helping a Student learn how to mop, fold laundry, of purchase a weeks’ worth of groceries. We are looking for applicants that can be patient and understanding with Students, accept feedback and guidance from their peers, and strive to help those we serve leave here better than when they arrived.
