ROLE SUMMARY

Join our team at Integrated Media Systems in Ashburn, VA, as a Warehouse Coordinator. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the warehouse to maximize efficiency, productivity, and organization, with a focus on space planning and organization skills.

DUTIES

• Oversee daily activities of the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and organization.
• Develop and implement warehouse procedures to improve efficiency, productivity, and organization, with a specific emphasis on space planning.
• Manage inventory control systems and maintain inventory levels, restocking in a timely manner while optimizing space utilization.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including proper organization of inventory and equipment.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products, coordinating deliveries to optimize warehouse space.
• Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring it is properly stored and organized for efficient use.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the same or similar industry, with a demonstrated ability in space planning and organization.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and experience with shipping and receiving processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a focus on optimizing space and organization.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, managing multiple aspects of warehouse operations simultaneously.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems, with experience in space planning software a plus.
• Comfortable with technology, including computers and apps.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
