The IT Support Specialist provides software and network support, training, and troubleshooting in a networked environment. In addition, they will provide support on a wide range of applications including Microsoft, EMR, and other software products and administrate systems including Cisco Meraki network equipment, and security administration.

Duties And Responsibilities
The essential job functions or duties of this position are to assist Director of IT as follows:
- Oversee all IT needs and maintain equipment for multiple locations across Texas.
- Provide high-quality support for end users in all locations.
- Patch Management for PCs and Servers.
- Azure AD and Office 365 Administration
- User and group creation and management
- SharePoint Administration
- Intune Administration
- Network Administration - IPSec VPNs, SSL VPNs, NAT, VLANs.
- Security Administration such as Intune Monitoring and Incident Response.
- New PC setup and configuration.
- Documentation of tickets including root cause, steps taken, and full resolution.
- Follows up with vendors for support as needed (i.e. Office 365, Printers, EMR).
- Provides support to end users in the selection, procurement, usage, and maintenance of software programs and hardware.
- Supports computer operation scheduling, backup, storage, and retrieval functions.
- Weekly system reporting.
- VoIP Phone System administration.
- Reviews reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine costs and impact, and address problems.
- Support testing of disaster recovery plan and quarterly testing of failover, UPS, and VPN connections.
- Use Remote support console to assist end-users.
- Other duties may be assigned
Education:
- Position requires an AA/AS degree in the computer-related field plus two years relevant experience; a BA/BS degree in computer science or related discipline; or the combination of education and experience that enables the performance of all aspects of the position.

- Work performed indoors with some potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to electronics work.

- Occasionally requires employee to lift, carry, or move light weight to medium weights of 10-50 pounds.
- Employee shall also perform such other duties in the ordinary course of business as performed by other persons employed in similar positions, as well as such other reasonable duties as may be assigned from time to time by Employer.
- Up to 50% travel required.
- This is an on-site position.
