Job Description: Assembly/Laborer 1

Reports To: Production Manager

Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Salary: $15-$19 Hour Starting

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately use basic measuring devices
• Follow established work instructions to properly assemble Integrated Steel Solutions’ products and/or different parts of products
• Organize materials at work station
• Ensure materials meet established quality standards
• Operate required equipment per safety guidelines, upon proper certification
• Prepare items for shipment including crating and documentation
• Basic knowledge of hand tools specifically oriented to steel fabrication (hand grinder, tin snips, nibblers, etc.), including hand drills
• General carpentry skills are helpful
• Little or no experience required

REQUIREMENTS

• Able bodied physically capable to bend and stand for long periods of time and able to lift 100 lbs using correct lifting techniques
• Practice good housekeeping on a daily basis.
• Highly motivated with a positive attitude
• Good communication and organization skills
• Wear proper PPE during work hours, steel/Kevlar toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs etc.
• Able to read English and understand the panel layout prints for assembly
• Able to communicate clearly any questions, or issues concerning the assembly process.
• Able to work in a team environment or on a by-yourself-basis with minimal supervision
• Ability to multitask
• Must be reliable, professional and able to follow instructions
• Provide excellent customer service
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
• MUST have reliable transportation year-round

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
