**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The Behavior Technician will provide direct intervention to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related disabilities under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
**Responsibilities:**
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA
- Collect data on client progress and behavior
- Assist in the development of individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to support clients
- Provide behavior management support to clients with autism
- Analyze behavioral data to make informed decisions on interventions
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of a High School Diploma, some college preferred
- Experience in patient care, particularly working with individuals with developmental disabilities or Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans
- Proficiency in maintaining medical documentation accurately
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively
- Strong analytical skills to assess client progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- All Behavior Technicians (BTs) will be required to pass a 40-hour training in ABA techniques, a competency assessment, and a certification exam to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within 90 days of employment
