Residential Treatment Facility Administrator

The Position

Our company is looking for a Residential Treatment Facility Administrator for a new 14-bed facility in Fort Myers, FL.

Responsibilities :

• 40 Hour Work Week With Call As Needed
• Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, Weekend Rotation May Be Required
• Reports Directly to Director of Quality Improvement
• Provides Direct and Ongoing Supervision to Program Staff Including Support, Encouragement, and Mentorship
• Advocate for Residents With Outside Agencies, Case Managers, Physicians, Families, and Make Appropriate Referrals
• Complete and / or Oversee All Necessary Paperwork to Comply with Licensure Standards, Including Personnel and Resident Files, Electronic Health Record, Progress Notes, Etc.
• Provide Support, Guidance, and Crisis Intervention to Residents
• Assist with Development of the Life Skills Program
• Completes Administrative Paperwork, Intake Paperwork for New Residents, and Changes of Status Forms in Compliance with Company Policy
• Screens Referrals in a Timely Manner and Follows Up with the Referral Source Regarding Outcomes
• Assist with Resident Intake, in Addition to the Completion of Admissions and Discharges
• Ensure Facility Cleanliness, Safety, and Operation in a Professional Manner and Report Any Needed Repairs to the Appropriate Department
• Facilitate Hiring, In-services and Training of New and Ongoing Staff, As Applicable
• Lead Weekly Wellness Meetings with Heads of Dietary, Resident Care, and Activities / Case Management Services Departments

Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree from Accredited University in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Nursing, Special Education, Health Education, or Related Human Services Field AND Three Years of Experience Working with Adults with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness OR Bachelor's Degree from Accredited University AND Five Years Experience Working with Adults With Persistent Mental Health Diagnosis
• Three Years of Supervisory Experience Preferred
• Must Have Knowledge of Principles and Practices of Residential Treatment or Assisted Living
• Experience with the Mentally Ill / Disabled is Required
• Must Have Knowledge and Must Comply with States and Federal Statutes, Rules and Policies that Affect the Target Population
• Must Be Able to Pass All Criminal Background Checks and Drug Screens
• Valid Driver's License with Fewer Than Four Combined Violations and Collisions in the Past Three Years
• Must Have Negative TB Screening Within 30 Days and Annually Thereafter.
