A client of ours located in Tualatin is looking for a Saw Operator / Material Handler.

Responsibilities
- Uses ERP system, Kanban, and manager instructions to meet production schedules.
- Verifies delivery counts and part accuracy against invoices, packing slips, and purchase orders.
- Dates, signs, and submits packing slips to accounting daily.
- Records discrepancies or damage in incoming goods.
- Unpacks items from crates and containers using hand tools.
- Moves inventory manually or with equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Unloads and racks inventory.
- Stages and rearranges products for warehouse access.
- Keeps work area and warehouse organized for efficient receiving.
- Manages Chip Program and handles container dumps.
- Operates forklifts, performs inspections, and adheres to safety guidelines.
- Monitors and reports equipment condition.
- Operates saws to cut steel and aluminum accurately.
- Measures and cuts materials as needed.
- Follows company policies, safety, and PPE requirements.
- Assists in other departments as required.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
- Minimum 6 months experience in a production / manufacturing environment preferred.
- Basic computer skills needed.
- Experience with calipers and tape measures.
- Follow written or oral instructions with common sense understanding.
- Lift and move up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Repetitive hand tasks including gripping and handling calipers.
- Work with hazardous chemicals using proper safety measures.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
- Handle multiple tasks and accept assignments from various supervisors.
Schedule : Monday Friday, Day Shift, 40 hours a week Occasional OT
Pay : $18 / hr.
