What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Technician position at Integrity Technology Solutions?
SUMMARY: The Network Technician is responsible for providing exemplary professional and technical service to all clients, to maintain client satisfaction and long-term partnerships. The Network Technician is responsible for their continued technical and professional development by initiating questions, demonstrating skills and shows initiative in completing work timely and accurately. He/she will work closely with other Network or Project Engineers to increase their knowledge of troubleshooting and network design.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Professional Services
- Work with Project Engineers to clearly understand project scope, goals and deliverables. Ask specific questions and clarifying needs with the Project Coordinator and/or Strategic Business Advisor.
- Complete proactive tickets as scheduled. Services on proactive tickets will include, but is not limited to:
- Imaging and testing new computers/laptops.
- Deploying new systems at client locations and testing the set up with the end user
- Providing how to instruction to end users on their new equipment
- Updating systems and applications
- Installing new printers and multi-function devices onsite. Testing device with end users to ensure proper setup
- Configuring and deploying wireless access points
- Communicate updates, changes, celebrations, and concerns to the Project Manager.
- Provides continuous communication updates, successes, setbacks and/or satisfaction with client based on communication plan.
- Identifies and manages project prerequisites and dependencies.
- Tracks and documents project milestones, tasks and change requests in ConnectWise.
- Promptly communicates overruns, scope changes and client satisfaction issues to project manager and/or account manager.
- Monitors level of effort on fixed fee projects and identifies ways to maximize realized rate.
- Provides input into project and/or project plan based on requests and technical expertise.
- Follows the project plan assignments.

- General knowledge of Microsoft platforms.
