Job Description
Become a member of one of the largest engineering companies in the world. Intel's Programmable Solutions Group (PSG).
Cloud Software Engineers designs, develops, validates, and debugs software to enable Intel hardware features and to optimize for cloud, hybrid cloud, and/or deployment models.
Understands partner software stacks and optimizes full stack software (spanning firmware, drivers, OS, middleware, SDKs, frameworks, algorithms, and applications) as required to enable cloud software that may include the development of reference cloud platform software and improving or enabling customer designs to obtain the greatest value from Intel products within the cloud.
May specialize in specific technology domains including data services (ingestion, database, analytics), AI/ML, and open source development projects.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position, and it will be compensated accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must be pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
1 year of experience or equivalent coursework in any of the following areas:
- Big debug data collection, processing and optimization for future issue handling OS, BIOS, and/or Hardware/Software interactions Scripting languages
- Python or PERL. Understanding of RAS and MCA error handling.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience on customer data handling and processing.
Experience in oscilloscopes, Signal analyzers and other test tools.
Experience in test development and validation/triage/debug environment. Experience in firmware development and validation

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $119,650.00-$179,490.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
