Job Description
Intel develops best-in-class graphics technology that is a critical part of our major SoC product lines. Intel's XPU Architecture Team is responsible for architecting the core graphics technology that is featured in these products. We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join the XPU power architecture team as a Discrete GPU SoC Power Architect and to help define and build the next generation of high-performance discrete GPU products spanning gaming, datacenter, machine-learning, and supercomputer usages.
With the formation of the Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics business group, you will be jumping into a fast-paced development environment with opportunities to lead the creation of world-changing technology for years to come. You will be a member of the architecture team that defines the features for Intel's hardware design engineers, software engineers, and validation teams to build industry-leading products based on the Xe HPG and Xe HPC microarchitectures.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Drive innovative power management solutions that comprehend diverse workloads, product configurations
SoC power management lead for one or more products
Ramp expertise in SoC functional domains and drive power management architecture and targets for those domains across the dGPU product line
Specify Hardware vs. Firmware partitioning along with architectural interfaces and algorithms
Drive architecture standardization, automation, and configurability with the goal of seamless, low-effort SoC integration

Qualifications
Minimum skills and experience:
Bachelor's Degree in in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 6 years of industry experience. Or Master's Degree in the same fields with 4 years of experience.
Your experience should be in the following:
SoC architecture and power management
Experience with clearly specifying interfaces, requirements, and targets with IP architect suppliers
Power fundamentals and the tradeoffs available to optimize dynamic and leakage power
Technical design skills (design and validation of different aspects of systems according to the specifications)
Experience with clearly specifying hardware/software interfaces
Data analysis and debugging
Preferred skills and experience:
An ideal candidate will have knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following:
GPU architecture and leading edge performance requirements
3D, Machine Learning, and/or media architectures and workloads
SoC design, validation, power and performance analysis

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$127,330.00-$216,740.00
