What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middleware Software Developer (Remote) position at Intel?
The Fabrics team is looking for a Software performance and validation engineer to help validate fabric performance at scale.
You would be developing new benchmark suites for large scale analysis of TCP and RDMA providers. This work will include analysis of the existing code base along with recommendations to maintainers for future enhancements.
Previous performance analysis work with high speed networking and experience with HPC applications and using MPI. You will design, develop, debug, and test complex software tailored for validating, profiling, and tuning of scale-up and scale-out technologies in the data center.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school-work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in with 3 years of experience or Master's with 2 years of experience or Ph.D with 1 year of experience with:
- Developing code in C language
- Python and Linux scripts
- Developing code in a Linux OS environment
- Experience using open-source development and source control tools and processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the Linux RDMA subsystem programming interfaces for highspeed networks such as InfiniBand RoCE or OmniPath
- Knowledge of performance monitors
- Experience with GPU programming
- Experience of network programming and network protocols
- Experience with Continuous Integration CI Tools

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$149,020.00-$223,560.00
