What are the responsibilities and job description for the ODS HDX Module Shift 6 Engineering Technician position at Intel?
The HDX (Tester Module) Engineering Technician will work at ODS (Oregon Die Sort) group in our Aloha site. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Sustaining tactical operations on shift. Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing testers in the HDX maintenance area. Troubleshooting and dispositioning tester issues/alarms in sorting module. Provide high-level training. Be the first point of contact for Manufacturing Technicians to Engineering escalation. Ensure tester issues are resolved efficiently, PMs (preventive maintenance) are executed on time, and maintain the spare tester availability. Working on engineering type projects. Collaborating with other organizations as well as the Virtual Factory to streamline new operational processes, which may require spec modification and updates. The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: Team and communication skills. Problem-solving skills. Be proficient and able to work with dynamically changing priorities.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship. Minimum Qualifications: 1 years of experience with tool maintenance. Candidate must be willing to work a night shift compressed work week schedule. The schedule will consist of three twelve-hour days in a row followed by a fourth day every other week. Candidate must be willing to: Lift up to 25 lbs (less often). 10 times/day, spend the majority of the time (more than 90 percent less break time) in a clean room environment working on tool sets, walking 5 miles a day, and/or standing/sitting for 9 hours. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data extraction and data analysis with tools such as SQL Pathfinder, JMP, Excel.
