What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer - EDA Validation position at INTEL?
As part of the ISFAST department in the Product Enabling and Solutions Solutions (PESG) organization, you will be responsible for developing and deploying Front-End tools, flows and methodologies (TFMs) for multiple Front-End Design and Validations teams worldwide, having a direct impact on product quality and rapid development timelines for Intel's products.
We are seeking passionate, energetic, and strong technical contributors with HW and SW skills to support the FAST charter by developing and proliferating efficient solutions and rapidly take features from concept to production, as well as provide support and training on your TFM areas of expertise.
In this position, your specific responsibilities may include any of the following areas:
Automated collateral generation based on machine readable flows
SW tool development leading to improved Product quality and improved end user productivity
Architecting core library for testbench development
Interfacing with multiple customers and EDA vendors, understanding their requirements, setting expectations, and delivering on commitments.

QualificationsThe candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of experience -OR-
Programming experience in Python
Passion for software architecture, API and tool development
Excellent tools/flows debug and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively with various technical groups and to coordinate activities amongst those groups
S/W development practices and quality standards
Ability to work in Unix/Linux based system with revision control systems like git
Additional Qualifications
Strong programming proficiency Python, Perl or C/C
Proficiency in machine learning and deep learning fundamentals
Team player with excellent communication skills and the desire to take on diverse challenges
Ability to take requirements from design through to implementation, both independently and with larger teams
Knowledge of Logic/RTL Design and Verification (System Verilog, Verilog or VHDL) and UVM
Experience with design simulator tools like Synopsys VCS, Cadence Xcelium or Simmens EDA Questasim
