The scope of this role is listed below but not limited to:
Managing capital and expense budget for SPTD.
Overall forecast and tracking spending against PAS. CPA (Capital Purchase Authorization) Process.
Working with Engineering, Finance on CPA inputs, submissions, approvals.
Managing overall capital checkbook.
Forecasting and tracking all expense items (Spares, Gas and Chems, Indirect) against POR Weekly cost reporting including commits approval.
Manage cost and resource planning systems by cost center/project.
Enforcing project controls.
Driving process improvements.
Presenting updates to project/senior management.
Work on opportunities for cost reduction and savings opportunities.
Budgeting Forecasting CyclesModel, plan, manage monthly Close, PLAN and xPOR submissions.
Working with engineering and manufacturing on spending forecasts.
Communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail.
Work in fast paced, ambiguous environment, and under tight time constraints.
Proficient in Excel, Sharepoint.
This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess the degree by employment start date.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree with 6 months of experience or MS degree with 3 months of experience in Engineering, Finance, Business, Administration or related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
3 months of experience in the following:
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, product development, budgeting.
Project Management experience.
