The Product Specialist will support the efforts of our Sales Team and ultimately drive sales bookings (in North America) by providing comprehensive product feature demonstration, conducting thorough discovery to understand the customer/prospect’s workflows, challenges, and goals; and positioning the solutions to align with the customer/prospect's goals and strategy. The Product Specialist will be responsible for the maintenance, preparation, and readiness of their own demo environment.
- Maintain a comprehensive technical and clinical understanding of Intelerad’s software, including supported workflows and optimal software configurations.
- Conduct customized and effective sales demonstrations of Intelerad’s products and third-party products (virtually or in-person at trade shows or client sites) for the purpose of driving sales bookings
- Conduct effective and thorough discovery to understand a client/prospects workflows, pains, and goals for the purpose of conducting an effective sales demonstration.
- Represent Intelerad and provide sales presentations on our company and our solutions at trade shows and industry events
- Provide relevant clinical and industry knowledge to support to the North American sales team
- Log relevant activities in Salesforce.com, maintained in an accurate and timely cadence.
- Gather feedback from clients and sales prospects during product demonstrations/sales meetings and share it with the relevant internal department.
- Assist in the preparation of RFP responses
- Maintain personal product expertise to a level that is sufficient to be able to guide and coach others on how our products work.
- Answer questions that arise during the sales process, seeking assistance from internal resources if/when required
- Assist in sales demo training for Intelerad employees (eg, in Professional Services and R&D), particularly when related to preparations for tradeshows
- Maintain a working knowledge of various 3rd-party products as they integrate with, and relate to, Intelerad core products; and provide training to Intelerad employees if/when requested.
- This job will involve a significant amount of travel, and can be done without being based in a physical office.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Radiology workflows, preferably from direct RIS or PACS experience (such as a user, admin, trainer, or demo resource)
- Ability to quickly understand client needs and goals and successfully position and clearly articulate the benefit of Intelerad solutions in response
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills for clinical, technical, and business audiences
- Excellent computer skills and competence with desktop software (eg, Google Docs, Microsoft Office; Web browsers, etc.)
- Knowledge of computer networking principles, and basic understanding of hardware peripherals
- Excellent English communication skills (writing and speaking)
- Availability for travel within North America as needed
