Job Description
Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating optimal, cost-effective projects and technologies. This includes providing technical support and service, as well as performing functions such as supervising, requisitioning, defining, initiating, specifying, documenting, and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Act independently with minimal supervision on smaller approved projects, suggesting improvements based on recent technical knowledge.
- Contribute to cost estimating for major capital budget items and manage the spending of approved project funds.
- Assist in the planning and execution of development processes, especially for product revisions, enhancements, or specific components of larger projects.
- Manage routine small projects independently.
- Investigate and analyze customer service problems, recommend design improvements, and design solutions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Knowledge of basic principles in various engineering disciplines.
- Initial training in Six Sigma quality techniques.
- Proficiency in running projects, coordinating contractors, and directing technician activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
