Role: Sr. IT Technical Specialist
Location: Waukegan, IL - 60085
- 100% Onsite role.
- May consider hybrid as well with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote for exceptional candidates. However, if someone is available to be 100% onsite for all 5 days, then they will be given first preference.
Skills Looking For:
- The project involves managing ERP systems, including multiple SAP implementations and legacy applications.
- Strong experience in the SAP ERP environment, in the areas of SAP-SCM (Production Planning, Production Execution and Quality Management), SAP-PTP (Direct & Indirect Procurement and Accounts Payables), SAP-APO, and SAP-Ariba.
- Extensive experience in SAP implementation, particularly in supply chain and procurement.
- Experience in SAP implementation and support, leadership skills, and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills required for managing teams and interacting with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Ariba and other relevant software tools.
- Exp with projects that are engaged in large scope ERP's and have interaction with multiple levels of management.
- Daily tasks include software lifecycle compliance, incident management, and application-specific maintenance in supply chain and procurement.
- Candidates with experience managing teams without direct authority.
- Strong leadership skills needed.
- Day-to-day responsibilities: Managing direct interface with customers, incident management, and software lifecycle compliance; Daily maintenance of application-specific tasks in the supply chain, procurement, and Ariba; Interaction with business representatives from various countries and managing a team of support resources.
Education and Level of Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a complementary business field.
- 10-15 years of overall IT experience, with significant recent experience in SAP implementation and support.
- Will also consider an Associate's degree with 15 to 20 years of experience.
Top 3 Skills (Must haves) :
- Proficiency in SAP SCM within procurement and Ariba.
- Strong operations and production support experience.
- Leadership and communication skills for managing teams and interacting with stakeholders.
