Buyer / Inventory Associate

IntelliFEED, Inc. is a leader in high-speed, automated feeding equipment for the packaging industry. We are currently looking to hire a Buyer/Inventory Associate for our corporate office in Rosemount, MN. We will train the right candidate and there are opportunities for advancement for dedicated, driven individuals. This is NOT an agency listing.

Position Summary

The Buyer is responsible for procuring raw materials for production from established and new vendors, planning, scheduling, and monitoring the inventory and movement of materials through the production cycle. Build and maintain vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:

· Negotiate and maintain lowest pricing on all purchases for company.

· Place purchase orders and expedite items daily.

· Review orders for accurate quantities, pricing, due dates, and quality.

· Work with accounts payable on receiving issues and accuracy of invoices.

· Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.

· Regulate inventory and maintain stock levels.

· Fulfill customer spare parts orders.

· Create and maintain bill of material for each machine manufactured.

· Other duties as assigned by manager.

Preferred experience:

· Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks is desirable

· Strong attention to detail, accuracy and completeness while meeting deadlines

· Self-directed and possess a high level of productivity and personal organization

· Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and interpersonal

· Adaptable to changing work environments, priorities, and organizational needs

· Plan and organize tasks and responsibilities to achieve goals and objectives

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Starting wage based on experience.
