Overview
Intelligent Waves, delivers innovative technology solutions to enable a more secure nation has a need for a Vice President / Program Manager to support critical DoD customers. The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring thorough and professional service delivery via multiple program and project management teams and will focus on providing mission-critical work in support of a large USAF platform and data support contract in Nellis AFB, Nevada. The program leverages data collection and processing to improve agile software development, enable rapid reprogramming, and provide operational data for various customers in near real-time. The individual in this role will be responsible for the management and professional services, engineering and technical services, studies, analyses and evaluations to accomplish the mission of collection of crowd-sourced data from several platforms into a central repository for analysis, dissemination, and virtualization.
Program Manager
The Program Manager maintains overall programmatic (cost, schedule, performance) responsibility for the execution of the contract and delivery of services and has full authority to act for the Contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operation of the contract.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Perform day-to-day contractual and programmatic management of the contract and all task orders. To include but not limited to: identification, tracking, managing, and resolution of program issues; proactively disseminates program information to all stakeholders; identifies, manages, and mitigates program risk; ensures that the solution is of acceptable quality
- On-site single point of contact to the Govt Program Office and senior Government stakeholders on overall program / contract execution and all contractual activities related to performance, cost, and schedule.
- Maintain daily coordination with the COR and Government PM, keeping them informed of relevant contract related information especially risks and issues and the associated resolution plans and status.
- Perform management and coordination of multiple Project Managers, Task Leads and individual contributors across multiple tasks and locations which includes hiring, promotions, terminations performance appraisals and pay reviews.
- Ensuring the timely execution of all financial, staffing and administrative contract actions.
- Retaining a fully knowledgeable, experienced, certified and trained workforce to support and execute contract requirements.
- Ensuring work deliverables, resolving performance shortfalls or deficiencies, supervising contractor personnel and communicating overarching Government objectives and goals for the task orders to the contractor team.
- Ensure the accuracy, quality, configuration management and timely delivery of all required contract deliverables.
- Manage near-term through long-term goals for the program and USAF objectives with routine collaboration between Govt stakeholders and the contractor team.
Qualifications
Requirements include:
- At least 3 years’ experience as a program manager managing a service type, performance-based contract with a value over $50M per year or $500M in total contract value over the PoP.
- Experience serving as a program or project manager leading and supervising a multi- disciplinary staff (100 person or more) of various levels.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing systems integration with multiple service providers and a multi-subcontractor environment.
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing global disparately located personnel.
- Demonstrated experience presenting briefings to senior customer management and customer stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Business, Financial, Management, Computer Science, Communications, Engineering or IT-related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience managing IDIQ programs with multiple active task orders using various contract types.
Additional Desired Experience:
- Demonstrated experience managing programs delivering technologically complex solutions.
- Demonstrated 5 or more years of experience with management of USAF contracts.
- Certified Program Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification (i.e. DAWIA).
Security Requirements: Must be a United States Citizen and hold a current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
Travel: Ability to travel (CONUS and OCONUS) up to 25% of the time and will be reimbursed based on IW policy, GSA Per Diem rates and DoD Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) as required.
