Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Project Manager to join our team and provide support for HR technology related projects and other technical projects related to facility management, Legal, DEI and other Corporate functions. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects, ensuring their alignment with business objectives and effective utilization of IT resources. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, budgets, risks, and ensuring the smooth implementation and transition to ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including HR professionals, Corporate functions, IT teams, and vendors, to gather requirements and ensure the effective implementation and integration applications.
- Coordinate project activities, assign tasks, and monitor and communicate progress to ensure timely execution and adherence to project milestones.
- Utilize project management methodologies and tools to manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively.
- Define clear roles and responsibilities, provide guidance and support to team members, and facilitate effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate testing and validation activities, user acceptance testing (UAT), and facilitate issue resolution and bug tracking.
- Ensure that project resources are allocated appropriately, and tasks are assigned and completed on time.
2. Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations ensuring project alignment with business needs.
- Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and addressing any concerns, risks, or issues promptly.
- Foster strong relationships with business stakeholders and other relevant stakeholders to promote collaboration and achieve project success.
3. Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with vendors and external service providers involved in the implementation, customization, and support of HR applications.
- Participate in vendor selection processes, negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure vendor deliverables meet quality standards.
- Monitor vendor performance and maintain effective communication channels to address any issues or changes in project requirements.
4. Project Documentation and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project charters, plans, schedules, and status reports.
- Prepare regular progress reports, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues, and communicate project status to relevant stakeholders and management.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of project activities, decisions, and lessons learned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, specifically in supporting HR applications or related systems.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and applications, such as HRIS, payroll, recruitment, performance management, and employee self-service portals.
- Solid knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow (ITSM, Project Management, Application Portfolio Management, reporting)
- Experience in managing full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, databases, integration techniques, and software development life cycle (SDLC).
