Title - Accounting Manager - Implementation Consultant
Location - San Jose, CA
Duration - 10 Months
Pay rate - $77.5 per hour on W2
Key Responsibilities:
Gain a complete understanding of each workstream in Global Accounting
Serve as a subject matter expert in areas of General Ledger, Parallel Ledger, Consolidations and Fixed Asset
Act as a key contributor to S4 HANA implementation including strong leadership in:
Chart of accounts
Parallel Ledger
Fixed Assets
Map and document existing process workflow
Identify and prioritize requirements across various finance stakeholders
Design and architect accounting processes to ensure that operations are optimized and all cross-functional impacts are considered and evaluated
Participate in the development of UAT plan, including identifying test scenarios, creating test cases and test data preparation
Act as a liaison between System Integrator, IT and Accounting leaders
Provide oversight of project deliverables; maintain implementation progress
Participate in user acceptance tests
Ad Hoc projects and analyses
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related field
15 years of accounting experience in General Ledger, Consolidations, Fixed Asset and International Accounting
3 years of experience with implementation of ERP systems (S4 HANA preferred)
Demonstrated the ability to lead cross-functional projects
Experienced knowledge of accounting policies, SOX controls, and financial statement preparation
Familiar with Blackline, Tableau, Power BI, Ariba and Concur is a plus
