Job Responsibilities
Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
Work on SDKs & Apps that handle real time chat traffic for millions of customers each day.
Producing modular, well-tested, and documented code with an eye on scalability & performance.
Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs and enhancing application performance
Be an influencer. Proactively find and solve problems without guidance
Work effectively with cross functional partners and stakeholders to set and achieve optimal outcomes
Minimum Qualifications
5 years of mobile engineering work experience, including hands-on experience implementing highly scalable and available systems
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate Android applications
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
No degree required: Data coding expertise is required
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have)
Deep experience as an Android Developer using Kotlin, coroutines & Jetpack
Experience working with an Android SDK
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs like JetPack Navigation, Retrofit & Moshi
Experience with usage of push notifications.
