Your role in helping us shape the future:
You will play a vital role in IGC’s Legal, Contracts, and Procurement team by managing activities for a portfolio of government and commercial contracts. You should enjoy working in a highly collaborative, dynamic, and diverse environment requiring specialized depth and breadth of expertise, complex problem solving, and excellent communication skills.
Your responsibilities will cross functional boundaries and comprise all aspects of contract management including, but not limited to, proposal support, contract drafting and negotiation, and contract administration. You will collaborate with and support the Sales, Business Development, Accounting and Program Management teams to close deals, execute program requirements, and drive success for the company and our customers.
Are you up to the challenge?
- Review and troubleshoot solicitation terms and conditions, provide required certifications, and submit proposals
- Draft and negotiate standard to moderately complex prime contracts, subcontracts, master service agreements and service orders
- Provide contract interpretation, guidance and recommendations to stakeholders
- Perform life cycle administration of a variety of contract types
- Manage Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs)
- Provide routine and ad hoc contract status reporting, and provide audit support
- Maintain proper contract files in compliance with company policies and security requirements
Can you drive these processes?
- Manage contract and proposal-related customer communications; ensuring contract compliance; advising stakeholders on key contractual issues and suggesting strategies; innovating process improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and organizational well-being; fostering strong relationships with customers, partners, and other internal and external stakeholders
You should definitely have:
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience; equivalent combination of education & experience considered
- In-depth knowledge of FAR and DFAR
- Experience in negotiating and administering GSA Schedule contracts
- Strong critical thinking and communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop sound business relationships
- ITAR access; all candidates must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents
It would be nice if you had:
- Experience with SalesForce
- Procurement experience
- Active Secret or higher security clearance
- Experience with the satellite/telecommunications industry
