- Providing post-acute nursing care \n
- Verifying and administering medications, monitoring their effects \n
- Taking stock of residents' vital signs, physical/mental conditions \n
- Asking residents about their medical history and current issues, documenting them \n
- Checking residents' medical records \n
- Ensuring residents' general comfort and safety \n
- Performing vaccinations, helping with phlebotomy, and setting up IV \n
- Helping with training and orientation of staff \n
- Taking inventory and properly stocking medical supplies

- Current Rhode Island state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) \n
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent \n
- Graduation from an approved LPN educational program \n
- At least 4 months' experience in post-acute care or in-patient hospital settings \n
