LSPR- Lab/QC Technician
Description/Job Summary
Responsible with developing and maintaining a quality system to assure that all manufactured products meet customer specifications and achieve superior quality and reliability levels. Investigates and evaluates facts and data to provide the plant with feedback on current and new product performance. The position will work with the plant's resources and customers to provide an ongoing source of product performance information and will be a direct feedback link to the manufacturing plant on matters pertaining to quality and performance data.
Responsibilities/Duties
Manage up to four quality technicians
Convert the current paper data collection methods into an electronic data system
Document the production specifications in Quality Inspection Plans
Develop, measure and report manufacturing performance metrics
Insures the manufacturing facilities are GMP compliant
Audit the processes and procedures to insure compliance to world-class procedures
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years experience, 5 years in management/supervisory role in Blown film and Flexo printing
Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, and ERP systems a must
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
Certifified Quality Engineer certification from ASQ preferred

Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time or as needed by customers
