Armed Security Officer

Inter-Con is searching for aspiring individuals to join our thriving team of Security Officers working under contract for the US Dept. of Energy. You’ll work as a member of a close team to form the backbone of the security forces protecting Government assets and Critical Infrastructure in the PNW.

Minimum Qualifications

· Must be a U.S. Citizen

· Possess a valid Driver's License

· Minimum of 21 years of age or older

· Be able to successfully pass a federal background check

· Possess a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

· Fluent in both the written and spoken English language

Job Duties

· Conduct vehicle and foot patrols within an industrial complex, office building, and critical infrastructure sites

· Conduct security screenings of personnel and vehicles entering facilities in accordance with Federal law and security regulations.

· Maintain logs of all visitors/vendors entering facility

· Issue visitor badges as required.

· Operate and monitor various video surveillance systems.

- Respond to security related incidents and calls for service

- Draft accurate and articulate Incident Reports.

- Professionally interact and communicate with employees, members of the public, and law enforcement.

• Hourly rate: $30.25/hour plus $6.36/hour “Health and Welfare” benefit.
