Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant
Job Description
Intercap Lending is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant to provide essential support to a top producing loan officer in managing the loan origination process. The Loan Officer Assistant will play a critical role in gathering borrower information, preparing loan files, and ensuring a seamless experience for clients. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities
* Assist loan officer in collecting and organizing borrower information and documents for loan applications.
* Collaborate with borrowers to guide them through the application process, answering questions and providing assistance.
* Coordinate with processors to ensure timely progression of loan applications, managing pipeline and deadlines.
* Communicate with clients, realtors, and other stakeholders to provide updates on loan status
* Assist in reviewing loan files for compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
* Maintain organized records and documentation of loan application activities.
* Assist in scheduling appointments and managing loan officer's calendar.
* Stay updated on mortgage industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
* Assist with lead management, prospecting, and business generating opportunities.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is a plus.
* 2 years of experience in mortgage lending, loan processing, or related roles.
* Strong understanding of loan origination processes and products.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and relevant software applications.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Customer service-oriented mindset.
* Self starter with ability to efficiently manage tasks and activities.
* Familiarity with Encompass or other loan origination systems is a plus.
*It will be an in-office position only
Pay range is $50,000 - $60,000 annual base pay commissions DOE
