We are currently recruiting for a Store Room Clerk for our sawmill in DeQuincy, LA. The Store Room Clerk will be responsible for proper operation, effectiveness, organization and cleanliness of the maintenance storeroom.

Along with great benefits including medical, dental, 401k, STD and paid time off, the starting rate for this job is $19.57 per hour.

What You’ll Do

Create and maintain storeroom cleanliness and organization.
Receive, count, inspect and place all parts and materials received. Verify receipt accuracy by use of purchase order data; enter data into purchasing system & forward receiving documents to Accounts Payable.
Enter requisitions from maintenance and mill personnel.
Perform periodic physical inventories.
Distribute parts and supplies from storeroom to employees and update inventory list.
Prepare documentation on parts sent for repair and issue repair requisitions.
Any other mill related needs, as required.

Self-starter with the ability to perform multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail with the ability to perform, storeroom related PMs.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to work effectively in an interactive team environment.
Strong administrative and computer skills, experience with MS office and CMMS an asset.
Ability to work a NIGHT schedule and serve as purchasing backup.
Physical requirements: walking, standing, climbing stairs, bending, heavy lifting.
