The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and operational performance analytics at Intergalactic. This position will work with leadership across the Company to perform financial analysis and forecasts, while delivering reports to key leadership, allowing for efficient, informed decision-making at all levels, and supporting business intelligence.
Expected Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities

- Collaborate with various business areas to gather financial data and provide insightful analysis for decision-making.
- Maintain and improve financial models to support strategic initiatives and long-term business planning.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual financial planning and periodic updates.
- Prepare month-end financial analysis and reporting.
- Develop and maintain relationships with departments throughout the company including Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
- Prepare financial reports on company projects and provide commentary on variances vs. budget and investigate discrepancies.
- Recommend and implement actions to reduce business costs.
- Work cross-functionally with other areas of the company and various levels of management.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with other departments to design and implement automated solutions.
- Prepare financial metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses to provide real-time visibility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Required Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- 0-3 years of Accounting, Finance, or related experience.
