Job Summary:
As a caregiver at Interim Healthcare, you’ll build relationships, improve the quality of life, and serve elderly in need of love and care. Your goal will be to help individuals enjoy life by helping them perform their daily functions of living. Your compassion and diligence as a caregiver will bring joy into the lives of the clients you work with and help them feel encouraged, involved, and loved while living safely at home.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Provide social interaction, activities, and emotional support to our clients.
- Range of motion exercise.
- Help with ambulation and transferring.
- Ensure a safe environment with unobstructed pathways.
- Monitor / report any changes in client's health to the Client Care Team.
- Follow care plans provided by the Client Care Team and document all provided care accurately.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude towards clients, families, and coworkers.
A few must haves from you:
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable experience
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
- Must have a valid two-step PPD
- Strong work ethic
- History of great attendance
- A smart phone with the capability to download and use a timeclock app.
- Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
