We are currently seeking an AP Analyst to support our team. This new position will support the daily functions of the accounting department including accounts payable workflow and approvals, vendor record maintenance, and automation implementation; provide backup for accounts payable administrator; and additional accounting and administrative functions as required.

As an Accounts Payable Analyst, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:

• Build and manage processes and workflows using AP automation software
• Provides analysis and recommendations regarding accounts payable automation implementation process
• Leads accounts payable automation implementation process and assists/leads departmental training and vendor education
• Participates actively as a member of the accounting team, including providing backup as required, assisting with the close process, and 1099 reporting
• Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute accounts payable workflow including but not limited to vendor maintenance, reviewing automated data entry and GL impact, and monthly accruals
• Assists in updating and documenting accounts payable policies, procedures, and internal audits

Requirements:

A few must-haves for our AP Analyst:

• Two (2) years' experience in accounts payable required
• Accounts payable automation software such as Bill.com, Tipalti, Paymode-X, Stampli, Ramp, MineralTree, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or other relevant platform experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable process, accounts payable automation and workflows, internal controls, 1099 reporting, and cloud-based accounting systems required
• Experience with multi-subsidiary and departmental accounting preferred
