Clinical Supervisor (RN) responsibilities include:
- Supervises develops, motivates, and evaluates clinicians and caregivers.
- Maintains a work environment conducive to achieving professional goals among employees, i.e. training, educational resources, etc.
- Provides orientation and training referring to episodic care and management.
- Identifies performance issues, discusses with Director, and assists in their resolution.
- Manages the operations of assigned programs including achieving the business plan.
- Supervises assigned clinical operations and ensures compliance with federal, state, local laws and Interim HealthCare policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensures all established policies, procedures, and standards of Interim HealthCare are consistently followed by employees.
- Analyzes and evaluates assigned clinical operations to ensure adherence to standards.
- Promotes growth of the business by presenting information, education, and support of Interim HealthCare services.
- Establishes appropriate standards of care and Interim HealthCare performance standards (in conjunction with the Director of Healthcare Services) to ensure patient/client and field employee expectations are met or exceeded.
- May have access to personal health information (“PHI”) necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities.
- Assists with the implementation of new company-sponsored systems.
- Responsible for coding, sequencing, and diagnosis to ensure the agency meets case weight standards.
- Responsible for achieving required outcome levels, OASIS accuracy and compliance, and maintaining EOE’s at agency required levels.
Clinical Supervisor (RN) Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse licensed in the state(s) in which he/she practices.
- Three (3) years of current nursing experience
- One (1) year experience as a nursing supervisor
- Meets applicable requirements to provide patient care
- Ability to effectively communicate with clinical, non-clinical staff, patients, and family/caregivers
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with multiple tasks, changing priorities, and short deadlines
- Demonstrated excellent supervisory skills
- Demonstrated excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Computer proficiency to include current software programs used by the company
- ICD-9 coding capability
- In-depth knowledge of OASIS documentation
- Ability to engage in local and out-of-town travel
- Valid driver’s license, if applicable
- Proof of COVID Vaccine, medical exemption or religious exemption
