Job Details for the Personal Care Aide (PCA) are as follows:
- K through 12
- Location: Scranton, pa area
- 7:00am - 3:00pm; Monday through Friday
- OFF (without pay) holidays, weekends, snow days, vacation days, Summer
- other opportunities provided upon request for down time
Compensation and Benefits for the Personal Care Aide / PCA:
- Up to $15/hr
- Health Insurance
- Simple IRA Plan; company matching up to 3%
- Weekly Pay via Direct Deposit or paper check
- Quarterly Bonuses
Responsibilities of the Personal Care Aide (PCA):
- Attend school with a pediatric client
- Follow school policies and procedures
- Assist in keeping the client on task in a classroom setting
- Redirect when necessary in the case of disruption
- Assist with bathroom duties, if needed
- Ensure that the child is safe and not harming others
- Report observations or concerns to supervisor
Requirements of the Personal Care Aide (PCA):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; required
- Passion for working with children
- 6 months of pediatric experience; preferred
- CPR and/or First Aide Certificate; preferred
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be willing to undergo Pre-Employment Screenings
