GS-07: 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-5 OR 1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement.
Specialized Experience: Specialized experience demonstrates the applicants' ability to respond to inquiries and assist with Realty services, policy, and procedures. Maintain and retrieve information from automated systems, and assisting with activities to ensure compliance with statutes, regulations and policies. Consulting with beneficiaries, lessees, landowners and the general public regarding the Realty process, options and other Realty needs.

Merit Promotion candidates must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date.
Preference in filling vacancies is given to qualified Indian candidates in accordance with the Indian Preference Act of 1934 (title 25, USC Section 472).

Responsibilities:
- Provide proficient management of trust and restricted fee real property and processing applications for land into trust, ensuring the protection, conservation, and prudent utilization of Indian lands.
- Consult with beneficiaries, lessees, landowners, and interested parties regarding the process, policy, and procedures of the Realty Program.
- Monitor the collection of trust funds and payment distribution from Realty transactions in the automated system; Trust Asset and Accounting Management System (TAAMS).
- Researches, analyzes and reviews moderately complex or conflicting problems, and provide guidance to the Bureau of Indian Affairs and land owners.
