Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position. The Assistant Controller will report to the Controller and be responsible for supporting the accounting department in day-to-day operations such as monthly preparation of financial statements, analyzing financial data, managing accounts payable and receivable, establishing and maintaining internal controls, and assisting with budgets and forecasts. The Assistant Controller will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures and will maintain accurate and timely financial records.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience in preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and managing accounts payable and receivable
• Team management and mentoring
• Ability to assist with budgets and forecasts
• Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to consistently meet deadlines
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• CPA Certification a plus

Preferred

• Experience working in the design field or a passion for interior design

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
