M&A Corporate Associate

Our client is seeking talented and experienced mid-level and senior associates to join their esteemed Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) practice. They are looking for individuals who are passionate about complex transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, private equity, and work with financial institutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead on due diligence processes and coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify key issues.
• Draft and negotiate ancillary agreements and primary transaction documents.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing strategic advice and guidance throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Manage all aspects of M&A transactions, including structuring, execution, and closing.
• Work closely with our private equity clients and financial institutions to ensure successful transaction outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to provide a seamless and client-centric experience.

Qualifications:

• 2-6 years of experience in M&A, with a focus on acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and joint ventures.
• Strong experience drafting key transaction documents and negotiating agreements.
• Familiarity with private equity and financial institution transactions is preferred.
• Admitted to the New York Bar with excellent academic credentials.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.
